Must
be obvious that I was a bit more cautious with this investment container than
the last image. Using thin gauge off cuts from plumbers or sheet metal workers
is a cheap and reusable source of wall material. One must allow at least 30
mm or 1 inch thickness over the model. I use wax as a sealer for the edges,
an iron or soldering iron helps to weld the wax in place around the edges. Good
idea to do two layers thick or pour a bit inside once the outside has cooled
and gently turn the container around to seal the join. Nothing can be more aggravating
than a leak developing when pouring your plaster, specially motivated by a vibrating
table top if you have one.
